The Alps aren't quite as bad but they're still very annoying. Unless you have a deep roster of trash bros you don't really care about, you can't really attack her once she starts casting. So you might get one turn of attempted attacks off before waiting another 1-2 turns for hex to wear off and for her to not cast another.

Then once you finally get to you, you have to sit there doing nothing until she decides to not use her hex ability on someone. You basically just throw your guys at her in a wide formation and just sort of slowly make your way across the map. The strategy for dealing with them is just so drawn out and RNG based. They're not enjoyable to fight against like the other enemies in the game. I understand the game is meant to be punishing but this is just awful design.
